The Runtime Platform for Cloud Agents

The emerging unit of work is a verified change in product behavior.

The world is changing. Most work is going to be done on cloud agents, because the roles of the knowledge worker (product, design and engineering, among many others) are compressing into one.

The way people work will be largely on these cloud agents. With the massive parallelization and the intelligence that LLMs provide, entire companies will effectively run on them.

Intent -> Agent Execution -> Runtime Evidence -> Verified Behavior -> Stored Behavior -> Questions -> New Intent

Work is verified on the runtime

This work will be verified on the runtime. We already see this with product development where a change isn’t done until it runs on a cloud device and behaves the way it was meant to.

The same principle applies to any development, and to any knowledge work.

The shared behavioral record

Every verified change is evidence of how the software actually behaves. Revyl gives companies a workspace, Atlas, built on a shared behavioral record that turns agent execution into knowledge of how the software behaves.

The company owns this shared record, and any agent or human in the company can query it.

The ambition is for every cloud agent and every human working at a company to draw from and contribute to the same record through this runtime, so that it becomes a shared workspace.

Companies need to control and own this behavioral record, because it is becoming the substrate that work is done on.

What it makes possible

The uses of a shared behavioral record are not immediately apparent, but there are second- and third-order effects across many parts of a company. Our job is to make asking these questions as easy as possible:

  • “Show me what this PR changes in checkout, and verify that returning customers can still use a saved payment method.”
  • “For us, activation means saving the first playlist. Show me everything a new user encounters before that happens.”

Agnostic by design

The record has to work no matter which provider someone uses.

Teams at companies like Tinder, Zillow and Angel Studios run on Revyl today.

The fundamental primitives of work are changing right in front of us. Our mission is to give every company its own substrate for them: its own record of how its software behaves.
